2004 Lime Rock Fall Vintage Festival
Photos from the paddock on Monday at Lime Rock. BMW again sponsored this weekend of vintage racing and this was the best year of the 3 or 4 that I have been going. BMW outdid themselves on the presentation and special events. Both paddocks were full and there were a lot of cars that I had not seen in years past. During lunch BMW allowed their drivers of the past and future take the wheel of the company's own 2002 Trans Am car, 320i Turbo IMSA car, M1 Group 4 car, IMSA GTP car from the late-Eighties, and McLaren F1 GTR from 1996. Being a little biased, these were my favorite machines. But there was plenty of other amazing machinery.
